摘要
In Z-pinch driven deuterium-tritium (DT) fusion experiments, the generated high-flux neutron emission poses dual challenges: potential structural degradation of target chamber components and neutron-induced activation of surrounding metallic materials. This study presents a comprehensive methodology combining neutron transport simulation and activation analysis to optimize radiation shielding design. We developed a Geant4-based Monte Carlo simulation framework incorporating precise engineering geometries and material compositions of typical Z-pinch configurations. The computational model systematically investigates (1) spatial neutron flux distribution, (2) energy spectrum characteristics at critical monitoring locations, and (3) activation products formation in chamber materials under different shielding scenarios.This work establishes a validated simulation platform for Z-pinch radiation protection design, providing quantitative guidelines for material selection and shielding thickness optimization. The proposed methodology ensures personnel radiation safety while maintaining essential diagnostic access, significantly advancing the engineering viability of pulsed fusion devices.
